Balance

For the second night in a row, I think I’m going crazy. There seems to be a cricket sounding insect in my kitchen. Well, I think it is a cricket, coz it makes that screeching crickety sound.
How sure am I that it is an insect? I don’t. But I know it is something. Because everytime I go into the kitchen to see where the sound is coming from, it goes silent.
Why do I think it is a ghost? Unless my eyes have serious problems, I can’t seem to locate it everywhere.
Walls/Ceiling/Floor? Checked.
Drainage? Checked.
Sinkhole? Checked.
Tried drowning water into them too to be sure.
But after a few minutes leaving the kitchen, there goes the screech again.

Checked my toilet as well. There isn’t anything there too.
I don’t think that I am a crazy psycho-maniac imagining things.
Or from watching too much Heroes to believe myself of having ’special powers’.
What is wrong?
What is the source?

I shall wait for another day to see if the creature (if it is a creature) dies from exhaustion. Or maybe by Monday I would go crazy and go killing people.

Let’s wait and see …
